Breakroom cabinets built as one island

These breakroom cabinets stand together on six 5 inch black metal legs as a single 54 by 36 inch island, with the counter 42 inches high. Three 35 inch tall cabinets make up the base: a buffet cabinet facing the room, with a full-width drawer across the top and a shelf behind its hinged doors; a pedestal on the opposite side with a 16-1/2 inch open cubby over a box drawer and a file drawer; and a trash cabinet across one end with two 19 gallon cans behind its doors. A second laminate panel under the cabinets ties the three to the legs. Made to order in the USA.

02 · Description

Buffet cabinet with trash can storage, and drawers that lock

As a buffet cabinet with trash can storage it keeps the cans out of sight under the coffee counter, gives the doors a shelf for cups and filters, and puts a drawer at standing height for cutlery, stirrers and napkins. The box and file drawer pedestal on the other side has a keyed lock, so office breakroom cabinets can also hold the petty cash tin and the supplier folders. The buffet drawer, the buffet doors and the trash cabinet doors do not lock as listed.

Break room cabinets that stay put

This island sits on legs, not casters. Pick its spot once: against a wall as a serving counter, or in the open where people reach the drawers from one side and the buffet from the other. Breakroom storage at 42 inches high is standing height, so the top takes the coffee machine, the water pitcher and the lunch spread without anyone bending. Our rolling islands cover the same storage on casters.

What comes included?

The buffet cabinet with its drawer, doors and shelf, the trash cabinet with its two 19 gallon cans, the box-and-file pedestal with its open cubby, the two 54 by 36 inch laminate panels (top and base) and the six metal legs: the complete set of office breakroom cabinets as pictured. The cups, flowers and food are props.

Do the cabinets lock?

The box drawer and the file drawer in the pedestal lock with a key. The buffet drawer, the buffet doors and the trash cabinet doors do not lock as listed; a lock can be specified at build time, ask before ordering.

Is it on wheels?

No. It stands on six 5 inch metal legs and is meant to stay in place. Our rolling islands cover the same storage on casters.

How big are the trash cans?

Two 19 gallon cans come with the trash cabinet and sit behind its doors.

How does it ship?

By freight on a pallet, or more than one, as factory-built pieces: the three cabinets, the two 54 inch panels and the legs. It is not flat-pack. The pieces connect to each other on site.
