02 · Description

A whiteboard and tackboard set above the return

A 72 inch wide board set, 47 inches tall, hangs on the wall above the return: a fabric tackboard on one side for pinned notes and a whiteboard on the other for the plan of the week. It mounts on metal clips and takes no desk space, which is what sets this L shaped desk with drawers apart from a bare L. Below the desk top a 6-1/4 inch modesty panel screens the front, and the return carries a removable 8 inch panel.

Power is included

A mountable four-outlet power strip with a 15 amp breaker switch and a 10 foot cord is part of the set, along with a 20 inch wire tray that mounts under the surface. The strip plugs into a wall outlet; chargers and monitor cables run through the tray and stay off the floor.

Which side the return is on

As shown, the return runs back along the wall on your right when you sit at the desk. A left-hand version can be specified at build time; ask before ordering and we will confirm it on the quote.

05 · FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do the drawers lock?

Yes. The box drawer under the desk and the file drawer under the return each sit in a pedestal with a keyed lock, so this is an L shaped desk with locking drawers on both pieces. Lock and pull finishes are chosen at build time.

What comes included?

The tapered desk with its box drawer, the return with its file drawer, the 72 by 47 inch whiteboard and tackboard set, the four-outlet power strip and the wire tray. As an L shaped executive desk with drawers it arrives as one order; the chair and laptop in the photo are not included.

How much floor space does it need?

72 inches along the desk and 72 inches along the return, plus room to roll a chair inside the L. The wall above the return needs 72 inches of clear width from desk height up for the board set, which stands 47 inches tall.

How does it ship?

By freight on a pallet, as large factory-built pieces: the desk, the return and the board set, with the power strip and tray. It is not flat-pack. The two desk pieces connect on site and the boards hang on the wall.

Can I pick the tackboard fabric?

Yes. The tackboard is fabric, and the pattern and color are chosen at build time. Ask before ordering and we will send the options.
