The wall above the return does the rest of the storage. A 72 inch fabric tackboard, 28 inches tall with rounded corners, hangs at eye level for notes and drawings, which is what makes this an L shaped desk with tackboard rather than a bare L. Above it, a 72 inch wall-mounted overhead cabinet, 15 inches deep and 18 inches tall, closes four rounded doors over a center divider. Both mount to the wall, the tackboard on metal clips, so the desk surface and the floor stay clear. For an L shaped home office desk with drawers, that puts the paper in the return and the clutter behind doors.
A mountable four-outlet power strip with a 15 amp breaker switch and a 10 foot cord is part of the set, along with a 20 inch wire tray that mounts under the surface. The strip plugs into a wall outlet; chargers and monitor cables run through the tray and stay off the floor.
As shown, the return runs back along the wall on your right when you sit at the desk. A left-hand version can be specified at build time; ask before ordering and we will confirm it on the quote.
