A solid panel base

The top carries on a panel base, two solid end panels rather than legs, joined by a wire management stretcher that runs cables between them. It gives the table a grounded, substantial stance and a channel to keep cords off the floor. The top is 1 and 1/8 inches thick with a 2mm edge band, and the table stands 29 and 3/4 inches high.

Where it fits

At 42 inches deep it is a touch narrower than a full boardroom table, which keeps it easy to place in a mid-size room while still seating a team of eight for real work. It pairs cleanly with standard task or conference chairs.
