A U shaped reception desk with storage built into the wrap means the front of house runs without a supply run: a doored storage cabinet and an open cabinet under the rear credenza, and work surface flowing from the front desk across a side bridge to the credenza behind. The station measures just over 85 inches wide and 105 inches deep, with 40 inch high transaction shells facing the lobby and an add-on counter strip above the front desk for sign-ins.

02 · Description

The bridge rises to meet you

The bridge section connecting the front desk to the rear credenza rides an electric height-adjustable base with a 27.75 to 47.4 inch surface range. That gives the receptionist a sit-stand work surface inside the U without moving the fixed greeting counter or the storage run, and the bridge's built-in back panel keeps the height mechanism screened from the lobby. Two grommets pass cables through the surfaces, so the phone, monitor, and printer wire cleanly.

Closed and open storage on the working side

The doored cabinet keeps supplies out of lobby view; the open cabinet beside it holds the things you grab twenty times a day, and the credenza surface above them runs the full 84 inch width for sorting mail and staging deliveries. It is the configuration for lobbies that receive packages, hold visitor materials, and keep a working printer at the desk.
